BORDR
June 26-27, 2027
By Nimrod Danishman
Two men. One wall. On Grindr.
Directed by Chase Winnicky
Boaz and George meet on Grindr. They are attracted to one another instantly and want to meet in person, before they realize each lives on the opposite side of a bloody border. One lives in Israel, the other in Lebanon. As their relationship warms up, so does the tension at the border.
Nimrod Danishman is a theatre director, playwright, educator, and co-founder of Ha’Meshulash Theater – the LGBTQ theatre of Tel Aviv. Bordr has been translated into several languages, and received productions in New York, London, Finland, and Germany.
Recommended for Ages 18+
Tickets on sale October 2026.
Dan’s Note
“As a Jewish theatre, it is important that we share Israeli stories in all their complexity. Bordr is a powerful reminder that our differences may shape our journeys, but it is our common humanity that ultimately connects us.”
